received his Bachelor and Masters Degrees in Civil Engineering from California State Polytechnic University and his Masters Degree in Public Administration from California State University, Northridge. Mr. Hansen joined the district in April of 1977 as the District Engineer. He has served as General Manager/Chief Engineer since 1981, and is responsible for overseeing all District activities. He directs the District's water supply system, operations and maintenance, and supervises office personnel in the preparation of all administrative activities, including preparation and administration of the annual budget. He acts as liaison to the Board of Directors and other governmental agencies. In January 1999 Mr. Hansen became the Executive Director of the newly formed Six Basins Watermaster. As a Registered Professional Engineer, Mr. Hansen is affiliated with the American Society of Civil Engineers, American Water Works Association, Southern California Water Utilities Association, and the Association of California Water Agencies. |

received his Bachelor of Science in Finance and a Masters in Business Administration from the California Polytechnic University in Pomona, California. Mr. Howie has been with the District since February 1997 and some of his responsibilities include direct oversight of the administrative operations, personnel matters and involvement with the legislative affairs and outreach programs of the District. He previously served in the capacity of Finance Officer with duties including management of the finance department, human resources, accounting operations and reserve investments. Mr. Howie is a member of the Southern California Water Utilities Association and the Government Finance Officers Association |

Responsible for managing the construction and maintenance activities of the District, including oversight of the Miramar treatment facility and distribution system; also responsible for water resource planning and related issues such as water quality, supply & demand, with regional input on groundwater programs. Mr. Sovich received his Bachelor of Science degree in Geology and Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering, both from California State University, Long Beach. He is a Registered Civil Engineer in the State of California and joined the District in July of 2004. He is also a member of the American Water Works Association, Southern California Water Utilities Association, and affiliated with the Association of California Water Agencies. Before coming to Three Valleys, Mr. Sovich served as District Engineer and General Manager for the Crescenta Valley Water District for over 11 years. |
