PRESIDENT, Represents Division V

 

Jody Roberto was appointed to the Three Valley’s MWD Board in January 2020. As the Director for Division 5, she represents Diamond Bar, and portions of Rowland Heights, Walnut, and City of Industry.

 

Raised in West Covina, Jody attended Mt. San Antonio College and Cal Poly Pomona.  She graduated from Cal Poly with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Hotel and Restaurant Management.

 

Jody and her husband Dave have lived in Diamond Bar since 1986 and have been active members of the community. They have three grown children and one granddaughter.  

 

Jody was the District Director for Senator Bob Huff where she served as the water and education representative. After retiring from the state of California, she now works as a Public Relations consultant in Education.

 

Appointed to the Diamond Bar Community Foundation board by the Diamond Bar City Council in 2002, Jody served several years as the President of the Diamond Bar Community Foundation. She is the Founding Chair of the Diamond Bar Community Foundation Holiday Gala, Founding organizer of the DBCF golf tournament. Founding organizer and chair of the DBCF Beerfest, Board Member for Boys Republic and Advisory Board Member for Pacific Crest Youth Organization.

 

Jody received the 1997 Pomona Unified School District Community Service  Award and 2010 Diamond Bar Outstanding Volunteer Award.
