Sylvie Lee

Chief Water Resources Officer

As the Chief Water Resources Officer, Ms. Lee is responsible for TVMWD's water resources and Capital Improvement Plan (CIP), design and construction of the CIP and strategic water resources planning initiatives.  In this role, she coordinates efforts among TVMWD's 13 member agencies and with Metropolitan Water District (MWD) to ensure water supplies to meet the region's needs in a reliable and cost-effective manner.

She joined TVMWD in 2021 with over 20 years of experience in the water and wastewater industry.

Ms. Lee is a licensed professional civil engineer.  She holds a master's degree in Civil Engineering from University of California Los Angeles and a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from University of California Riverside.

She also serves as the Vice President/Treasurer of the American Public Works Association/Inland Empire Branch.
